25 Mar “What’s Going On with Kalika?”
It’s amazing how quickly months or even years can slip by in the flurry of events that shape this extraordinary experience of life.
I’m so grateful when I step back and notice that my life is inextricably joined with so many other lives.
I’ve been savoring my days as a mom, wife, serial entrepreneur, podcaster, author, inventor.
The past several months have been both busy and rewarding for me, and I want to update you on what’s going on in my life because you have played an important part in my journey.
It’s a joy to share with you what’s happening. 🙂
RODNEY & I
We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary this year! Wow! : ) We’re headed back to Oahu (where I grew up) over Spring Break for the first time in 2 years.
After two decades at Bloomberg, Rodney joined our companies as Chief Operating Officer a couple of years ago! We have weekly Date Days (often with our new pandemic puppy Mochi in tow).
Another new chapter in my story that has been giving me tremendous joy and fulfillment is starting my own entrepreneur coaching practice!
I’m supporting entrepreneurs to tap into their own brilliance so they can take courageous action toward the world they would love to bring about.
I’ve been rigorously training for the past couple of years with the Academy for Coaching Excellence, an International Coaching Federation accredited certification program, and it’s been one of the most transformative experiences of my life.
It’s been a privilege to see the greater impact people can make with the support of coaching, and I’m so excited to be taking my business to the next level and helping 1M female entrepreneurs, make 1M+ in revenue and create 1M jobs.
If you’re interested in becoming a CERTIFIED coach, definitely consider Academy for Coaching Excellence! It’s rigorous but worth it!
My daughters Malia & Kailani (15 & 13) are at Harvard-Westlake School, in 10th and 8th grade respectively. On their ofttimes, they’re playing volleyball at Sunshine Volleyball Club and running their business Conscious Kids Cookies.
Ten percent of their proceeds go to No Kid Hungry and we couldn’t be prouder!
TIKTOK : )
The last thing I wanted to do was to dive into another social media platform. . LOL. When I shattered my wrist last Jan, I had ample time to explore TikTok
After a couple of TikTok classes and working with a video coach, I’ve finally been enjoying making TikToks. . Check out @kalikayap where I share entrepreneurial advice, wisdom and have fun at the same time!
Short-form video marketing is where it’s at in 2022 and beyond! Make sure you incorporate video SEO in whatever you do for your business!
Whether we hung out yesterday or haven’t spoken in months, if you’re receiving this email it’s because I want to stay connected.
I would love to hear from you about what has been filling your days, what’s been challenging, and what has been making you smile.
I hope whatever you have going on, you’re savoring this life and appreciate all of the lives you have touched.
I look forward to the next time we connect.
